Three industrial engineers on a mission to transform how students learn Maths and Science through real-world applications.
Our JourneyHow three problem-solvers redefined tutoring
While studying as industrial engineers, we began tutoring friends' children in our spare time. We quickly noticed how applying engineering concepts made abstract maths problems click for students.
After helping a struggling Grade 10 student improve from 40% to 78% in Physical Science, we realized our engineering approach could revolutionize traditional tutoring methods.
We opened our first small tutoring center in Halfway House, Midrand, with just 12 students. Word spread quickly about our practical, results-driven approach.
Now helping over 200 students annually, we've developed a proven methodology that blends industrial problem-solving with curriculum requirements to deliver exceptional results.
The passionate team behind Beyond Education
Co-Founder | Industrial Engineer
"I bridge the gap between textbook theories and real-world systems. When students see how calculus applies to real world designs, everything changes."
Co-Founder | Industrial Engineer
"I transform complex mathematical concepts into everyday language. By connecting abstract theories to practical applications, I make learning engaging and accessible. This approach empowers students to excel in Mathematics."
Co-Founder | Industrial Engineer
"Mathematics is the language of problem-solving. I teach students how to 'speak fluently' by connecting algebra to everyday engineering challenges."
Why our industrial background makes all the difference
We teach students to see Maths and Science as interconnected systems, not isolated facts - just like engineering projects.
Every concept is tied to real-world examples from our engineering experience, making abstract ideas concrete.
We've adapted industrial problem-solving methods into a step-by-step approach for academic challenges.
